Unfound.films is an independent art project dedicated to finding and reviving lost and forgotten slides and film. These are the everyday moments captured on them: the beauty of the ordinary lives of people from the past. Their memories. Their stories.

We track them down all over the world, carefully restoring, digitising and archiving every frame. Our aim is to preserve not just the images, but the memories they carry.

These are the stories of people we never knew. Family celebrations, long journeys, unguarded smiles, streets that no longer exist.
